Available for the 2025 hay season, Vermeer’s product line now includes triple mowers, adding to an existing range of disc, trailed and power mowers.

“Vermeer is 100% focused on hay, dairy and beef producers, and the products they need to be successful in the field,” says Shane Rourke, managing director of forage for Vermeer. “I’m excited to bring these products into our lineup to meet our customers’ growing need for efficiency and productivity

The new triple mowers, built in collaboration with European ag machinery brand SIP, include the FM110 front mower and the CM295 combination mower, which is available as a plain mower, rubber roller or flail conditioner. Both have a 29.8-foot cutting width.

A robust cutting bar includes shear protection to prevent damage to the machine’s internal components and quick-change blades for easy maintenance. A closed-loop hydro-pneumatic suspension system adapts to varying terrain, maintaining consistent down pressure across the cutter for better performance.

Other additions

Farmers can also expect to find two new rotary rakes, the RR140s and RR270c, at Vermeer dealers this year. With raking widths of 14 and 27 feet, respectively, and large 16.5-inch cam tracks, they’re designed for durability and ease of maintenance,

The rakes’ large components hold up well in the field and give easy access to grease points.

Vermeer has also released its largest tedder yet with the TE485. It has a 48.5-foot tedding width, and hook tines optimize hay quality via more consistent and complete drydown as hay is inverted with wet crop on top and dry on the bottom.

Over the last year, Vermeer has introduced new generations of its silage balers and mower conditioners. The brand also recently announced a partnership with GT Bunning & Sons to bring a wide range of manure spreaders to market.

Availability of field inventory will be limited in 2025 with full availability expected in 2026. For more information, visit vermeer.com.
