JCB unveils powerful new compact track loaders

JCB has launched its largest compact track loaders yet, boasting new machines the company claims will deliver more performance and horsepower with more efficient running engines.

The company unveiled its 109-hp 4TS Teleskid and 400T compact track loader at the 2025 Farm Progress Show.

“These machines reflect our commitment to equipping customers with the tools they need to work smarter, not harder,” says Lee Tice, product manager for JCB North America. “The 4TS and 400T were developed with extensive customer feedback, incorporating updates that deliver more power, greater reach and improved productivity.”

JCB 4TS Teleskid

4TS TELESKID: The 4TS Teleskid features a 15-foot lift height, nearly 2 feet higher than the company’s previous 3TS, and nearly 4,000 pounds rated operating capacity, which the company claims will eliminate the need for a separate tractor or telehandler in many situations.

Both have a rated operated capacity of 4,000 pounds, with the 4TS teleskid featuring an extended rated operating capacity of 1,900 pounds and a lift height of 15 feet. Both machines are powered by a 109-hp JCB Ecomax engine boasting 380 foot-pounds of torque.

“The power isn’t needed to move it from point A to point B; it’s needed to power demand-hungry attachments,” he says.

Both machines feature four modes of auxiliary performance, with maximum pressure at 4,000 psi. Flow rates at gallons per minute, follow:

  • standard flow at 16 gpm
  • high flow at 32 gpm
  • max flow at 42 gpm

All of this can be achieved, Tice says, without the need for external coolers.

The 4TS Teleskid features a 15-foot lift height, nearly 2 feet higher than the company’s previous 3TS, and nearly 4,000 pounds rated operating capacity, which the company claims will eliminate the need for a separate tractor or telehandler in many situations.

It weighs 13,000 pounds, and is 6 feet, 10 inches tall. Addressing feedback from 3TS owners, Tice says the 4TS is designed to run high-flow attachments even when the boom is fully extended, which overcomes a key challenge and expands its capabilities for complex jobsite operations.
