Ag sprayer technology is advancing quickly via breakthroughs in precision spraying and monitoring systems. This was evident at this year’s Farm Progress Show and Husker Harvest Days, where new products like Precision Planting’s Symphony Vision camera system was on display.
The camera system unlocks intelligent weed detection, categorizing weed density to apply variable-rate chemicals. Similarly, Carbon Bee’s SmartStriker X saves money through precise green-on-brown detection technology.
New products also included Capstan Ag Systems’ Tattler flow monitoring, which provides individual row diagnostics for fertilizer applicators. Also, AgZen’s RealCoverage system maps spray patterns in real-time, enabling immediate adjustments for improved coverage effectiveness.
Duo Lift’s stainless steel tank trailers feature hot load capabilities and easy cleanout design, while BK Comp’s carbon fiber booms offer lightweight strength for wider working widths without compromising stability. Elsewhere, autonomy was on display with Solinftec’s solar-powered refill stations, which can enable 24/7 robotic operations.
