Technological advancements in grain handling equipment were showcased at this year’s Farm Progress Show and Husker Harvest Days. AGI’s Batco FX4-1839 conveyor (10,500 bushels per hour) and Westfield STX3 13-41 auger (10,000+ bushels per hour) emphasized speed and self-propelled convenience. Brandt’s 2010A Grain Deck offers flexible unloading options, while KSi’s 1612 Bin Fill Conveyor introduces remote-controlled operation.

In automation, AGI’s Smart Auger prototype stands out as the first battery-powered, autonomous grain auger, signaling a shift toward electrification. Meanwhile, the AGI Batco UCX4 remains the only diesel-powered belt conveyor on the market.

For grain monitoring, OPI Systems’ Omni Cable provides instant bin-level alerts, while Prairie Grain’s SiloScan Max uses radar for ultra-precise inventory tracking (0.4-inch accuracy). Both systems help farmers prevent spoilage and optimize storage.
