Miller Electric launched its first battery-powered welder at this year’s Farm Progress Show. The Venture 150S weighs in at 27 pounds and costs $3,800. The unit handles stick and TIG welding without power or gas connections, targeting mechanical contractors needing quick setup.
Miller also upgraded welding helmets with its Infinity and Elite Series, featuring 4.0 lens technology that doubles clarity over previous models. Priced from $400 to $450, the helmets include automatic arc detection and four-year warranties. The company’s Millermatic 211 Pro MIG welder shows a 20% higher-duty cycle than its predecessor while maintaining amperage output.
Storage solutions dominated other releases. Ag Storm Equipment’s Field Seal TB8 toolbox offers four times the standard capacity. Mid-American Tool’s $3,000 safety cabinet addresses lithium battery fire risks by storing 33 tools and 36 batteries separately.
Wood Master introduced Flint Series outdoor furnaces for smaller heating applications. Complete packages start at $9,000 for the 1100 BTU model, with the 2200 BTU version at $10,000.
