John Deere’s latest tillage tool lineup provides more flexibility for farmers through new smaller two-section high-speed disk models in four widths, and autonomy-ready rippers and field cultivators.
“The new expanded John Deere tillage portfolio reflects what we continue to hear from farmers — the need for tools that fit their operation, acres and timeline,” said Michael Porter, John Deere’s marketing manager for tillage equipment. “From new sizes to expanded autonomy ready options, these updates provide customers with more ways to complete critical fieldwork efficiently during tight postharvest and preplanting seasons.”
Additional two-section models range from 15-, 19-, 22, and 25-foot widths. Meanwhile, Deere will expand its autonomy capabilities to the 2730 combination ripper and the 64- and 69-foot models of the 2230 field cultivator.
“We heard from customers who needed the benefits and performance of the high-speed disk in a more compact option,” Porter said. “The new two-section options in smaller widths deliver that flexibility while maintaining the field finish that define the HSD lineup.”
Hylio launches drone for precision-ag scouting
Hylio has launched a new unmanned aircraft for precision scouting, mapping and rapid response operations. The Photon combines a rugged, compact airframe with sensors and native integration with Hylio’s AgroSol Ground Control Station, allowing operators to capture actionable data faster and with fewer steps.
“Photon distills everything we’ve learned building mission-ready UAS into a smaller, more agile package,” said Arthur Erickson, CEO of Hylio. “From agriculture to critical infrastructure, teams need intel now, not after a lengthy setup. Photon launches in minutes; delivers clear, decision-grade imagery; and packs back up just as quickly.”

The drone can fly for up to 55 minutes, with multiple payload configurations and a fold-and-go design. It supports high-resolution multispectral and lidar sensors, enabling users across industries, from precision agriculture and utilities to public safety and land management, to gather real-time insights for faster decision-making. Photon durable construction and quick-swap batteries make it ideal for daily use.
Take Bobcat portable generator where needed
Bobcat’s new portable generator simplifies logistics with advanced load management and enhanced output.
“The Bobcat PG1140 integrates two PG570 portable generators into a single 48-foot trailer, combining power output while significantly reducing transport and setup costs,” said Bobby Ranker, product specialist at the Bobcat. “It’s designed to withstand rigorous applications while ensuring reliability, operator well-being and productivity at every stage.”
Powered by dual Cummins X15 engines, the PG1140 operates without exhaust gas recirculation. This design eliminates the need for a minimum load and ensures reliable performance even in temperatures as low as minus 13 degrees F.
It has 1,300 gallons of onboard fuel and 92 gallons of diesel exhaust fluid capacity, with more than 27 hours of runtime at 75% load. This extended capacity minimizes refueling needs and maximizes operational uptime.
The trailer’s high clearance and modular safety railings with ladder improve site mobility and operator protection. Ground-accessible switchgear and controls simplify operation, while the trailer also accommodates power distribution equipment such as cabling and spider boxes behind the switchgear to streamline logistics.
Bourgault offers dual-knife opener, 50-foot air seeder
Bourgault has launched two new products into the North American planter market, including the world’s first dual-knife opener, the PLDX. Engineered for consistent one-to-one depth control and agronomic flexibility, the PLDX ensures more consistent seed depth across severe contours, washouts, ruts and rolling ground — conditions where traditional openers often struggle.
Also new on the market is the Bourgault CDi50 — a 50-foot, transport-friendly air seeder. Built for large-acre producers looking for speed, precision and adaptability, the CDi50 combines large onboard tank capacity with configurability.
The CDi50 folds to under 40 feet long, a little more than 20 feet wide and 14 feet high. Two tanks hold 225 bushels, eliminating the need for a trailing cart. Its opener choices include Bourgault’s PLW or PLR, with row-spacing options covering 7.5-, 10- or 12-inch configurations to match crop rotation needs.
